Apply for daycare

Touhula’s day-care focusing on exercise is filled with good energy. We encourage children to take part in versatile and creative activities throughout the day. Exercise is present in all learning areas, and each day the children will get to explore their limits and experience success in a sporty environment. The kids will also learn how to express themselves by means of exercise. There’s always room and time for natural exercise and play, both indoors and outdoors. At these day-cares, the children will get a minimum of two hours of exercise per day. Our exercise-oriented day-cares grow the children into happy go-getters who have discovered the joys of exercise and a brisk, healthy lifestyle.

There’s joy in playing, moving, balancing, and swinging.

Our groups

At Touhula, children are divided into small groups during the day. This aims at ensuring that each child is seen and heard as an individual. We create a learning environment that allows for the children to practice their interaction and social skills. Small group activities support the independence, involvement, and playing skills of the children. This also gives the early education staff a genuine opportunity to be present, to react to the needs of individual children, and to teach them emotional skills.
Please contact the group directly in matters relating to the everyday activities of your child such as:
• absences from the daycare and changes in the hours of care
• a special diet, if any
• changed contact details.

Sponsors and partners

At the core of our sponsor and partner activities lies a genuine desire to do good. We have local sponsors for each daycare centre who provide excellent role models for the children. What was the most memorable moment in your career in Touhula?

There are so many moments, but this one I remember particularly well. I took a one-week holiday, and as I returned to work all the kids ran to the gate with welcoming hugs.

Another fun memory is the spring party we threw together with my colleague for all the employees. As we are a daycare centre focused on exercise, we decided to organise olympic games for the adults in groups, and every staff member really threw themselves into play.
